Loving Eachother

April is Sexual Assault Survivor's Month. This is the perfect time for us to consider how we love the women in our midst, at least 30% of which are statistically likely to be survivors of sexual assault. Let's remember that women are not a minority when we look at the numbers which make up the Body of Christ; they actually constitute a majority. So for us to love each other effectively, we need to examine how to do that in a way that takes into account what is harmful to others and how to avoid causing that harm.

Romans 13:10 "Love does no harm to its neighbor"

1. Refer to Law Enforcement and Experienced Professionals

2. Believe, Protect, and Empower Survivors

3. Operate with Transparency, Accountability, and A Good Theology of Gender
